Identify the exact repair
“Door repair” leaves room for confusion. This example names the upstairs bedroom door, defines the closing problem, and limits the work to adjustment and two replacement hinges.
Separate planned work from discoveries
A damaged frame may only become obvious during the job. The work order excludes frame replacement and asks the technician to obtain approval before extra repairs. Its $154 total is an estimate, not a receipt.
Use the order on the day
Confirm the scheduled date and access instructions with the resident. Keep completion notes in your own records, then prepare an invoice for the actual agreed work.
