Define the offer before sharing a price

For a service, specify deliverables and revision limits. For products, identify the model, quantity, and any delivery charge. Put optional work in a separate quote or clearly describe it as excluded so the total is unambiguous.

A generated quote does not manage acceptance, signatures, or contracts. Keep the customer’s response and any agreed changes in your own records. See estimate vs. quote for the practical difference.

Common questions

Does this include online acceptance?

No. Share the PDF and arrange acceptance or clarification through your usual business process.

Where do I put exclusions?

Use Notes or Terms to state what the offered price does not cover, such as extra revisions or delivery.

Can I change a quote later?

You can edit a saved draft. When sharing a revised offer, clearly identify the revision and keep the earlier version for your records.
